The Latin America Information Office, LLC (LAIO) serves as a resource for progressive social movements, policy makers, and governments who are searching for practical policy solutions to real-life problems: primarily poverty, inequality and exclusion. Through research, analysis, public education, and dialogue, we aim to educate the American public, media and public officials about contemporary Latin America and the progressive changes sweeping the region. Our purpose is to foster just cooperation and relations between the U.S. and the rest of our hemisphere and promote common agendas shared by all those working for a more humane and socially oriented world.
